Rubber Flooring

Benefits of Interlocking Flooring

Sometimes full rubber flooring just isn’t practical. Tile sometimes can be the cheaper option. However, there are still things you can do to make your flooring safer for people who use it. Interlocking flooring can provide the safety of full rubber flooring while adding an element of mobility if it needs to be moved. There are many types of interlocking flooring that can be purchased. You can go for the solid flooring that has no holes. This is more suited for exercise. Another option would be getting the flooring that does have holes in it—this is lighter flooring and easier to clean.

Exercise

No weight room or exercise gym would be complete without some interlocking rubber flooring. The flooring will help keep your posture as you lift weights or in some cases while you are performing maneuvers. The rubber flooring will enable real workouts to happen by limiting the impact of certain exercises. For example, running in place is usually a higher impact exercise, but with rubber flooring put it in the right places the impact of each step is greatly reduced.

Retail

Your employees in a retail situation will need your help to keep their legs, feet and back in shape. With the portable interlocking rubber flooring, you can take care of the posture of your employees and keep them comfortable in the long hours that they work for you. The rubber flooring can greatly increase the mood of the employees standing for those long hours.

Children

Children will play anywhere, but why not make where they play more comfortable for them? The principle is the same as gravel in playgrounds, they will cushion the falls and will help the kids bounce back up quickly. The interlocking flooring pieces are easy to move for cleaning. If you have adventurous enough children, you could always throw the interlocking flooring up into their tree house for them to have comfort while they spy on the neighborhood for you.

Garages

This gives you the same support it would give a retail worker as well as the non-slip design that will keep you from falling if there is an oil slick in your garage. In certain circumstances you can use the flooring to keep you up off of the floor when you are down on your back beneath the car fixing it from below, or you can put it under your knees when you are down hooking in the brake lines, instead of hunching over.
